Oct 31st we will be having our 2nd spirit day (Costume Day)!

Halloween

Students may dress up in costumes.  Masks, blood and gore as well as weapons e.g. swords, guns, knives etc. that are often used to compliment an outfit, are not permitted.

Over the next couple weeks students will be learning to identify the point of view presented in a text and suggest some possible alternative perspectives.

Ask the following questions to your child to help him/her further his/her learning.

  1. Retell the story from the point of view of someone other than the author
  2. How might the story have been different if the main character had been a girl instead of a boy or a senior instead of a child?
